The House
Butlers Farm, is a very old (1450) English farmhouse. It is at the end of a lane so very quiet set in 1 hectare of grounds surrounded by farm fields. Though our house is old we have a hot tub, sauna and trampoline, and all modern appliances available: washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, central heating, shower, bath and an Aga type cooker. In the living room is a very big open fireplace. We have 4 bedrooms and can sleep 6 people. There is a kitchen, dining room, a sunlounge, a quiet room (former chapel) one bathroom, 2 toilets and a utility room. The house is full of character with a wealth of beams. There are mainly wooden floors
We have a pond in the garden so little children will need watching although there is a fenced area in front of the house. The gardens are full of trees, with plenty of plums in august.
